Merry Christmas!

My gift to you all is another QC strip on time. Not every intarweb cartoonist would take time out of their hard-won vacation to draw comics! Anyway, I hope everyone got the loot they were asking for. If you're curious to see what I got, check in the forums. I took a picture of one of my presents and put it up there.

I've also got a recommendation on what to spend some of your Christmas money on. My friend CharlesV helped me get my hands on a copy of The Lemon of Pink, the newest record by electronic outfit The Books.

This is without a doubt one of the best records of 2003. Amazing, gorgeous chopped up acoustic guitars, found sounds, and other weirdness molded into beautiful (sometimes hysterically funny) lap-pop. Don Caballero meets Dntel is the closest sonic approximation I can think of, but it really doesn't do this band any justice. There were times during the first few listens where I laughed out loud (OMGLOLWTF) out of amazement and happiness. If you enjoy listening to music you will enjoy this record.

So apparently Top Web Comics is coming back online (again) January 1. I have to say I'm more than a little skeptical. I suppose I'll leave the (still broken) button link up and see what happens. For now, Buzzcomix seems to be the place to be. Thanks to everyone who votes, you really help more than you know.

That's all for now. Have a pleasant weekend and I will see you on Monday!
