I am really happy with tonight's comic. The art and writing just came together perfectly- I had a ton of fun drawing this comic, when lately the artwork has been a bit of a struggle for me. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I don't have to be at work at 8:30 tomorrow morning, hehe. In any case, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
You've probably already noticed the nifty new navigation layout on the site. I had been playing with these list-based navbars last week, but couldn't get them to work. My awesome friend
MangoDuck fixed it for me, and completely overhauled the site's CSS while he was at it. I like to think of myself as fairly competant when it comes to site layout, but seeing The Mango Duck's code makes me realize I should really do some refresher reading one of these days. It is good to have talented friends!
June is the month of my birthday, and in celebration I would like to do something that will hopefully benefit both you and I. Here is the plan- if anyone sends me a donation of any amount in the month of June, I will do a bonus comic by the end of the month. That means if one person sends me 50 cents, everyone gets a bonus comic. If 500 people send me $50, everyone gets a bonus comic and I don't have to worry about paying the rent next month ;).
Anyway I hope that sounds like a good plan to you guys- I think bonus comics in exchange for donations is a pretty good idea. If you agree, feel free to donate. There's now a link at the bottom of the news box, right above the Dayefree Press banner. If you don't agree, or can't spare the money, don't worry about it.
