Today was my birthday! Year 24 got off to a pretty rocky start, but a tasty dinner and some awesome presents from Heather made it better. Also some awesome people made me drawings!

One last thing before I go to the store to buy more anti-itch lotion for my poor allergic-reactioning ears: Get your hands on a copy of
Your Voice Repeating by Namelessnumberheadman (yes that is their real name) as soon as humanly possible. This is SUCH a good record! Imagine if the Flaming Lips and the Microphones got together to do a record, and you have a pretty good idea of what it sounds like. Gorgeous experimental pop music (tracks 3 and 4 are particularly astounding), I have a feeling this one will place well in my top ten of 2004.
