Holy Christ did I ever do a lot of drawing this weekend. I had to draw ten panels yesterday in order to finish the mini-comic on time (here is a
sneak peek at one of the panels), drew the cover illustration this morning, and drew this comic tonight. Towards the end I was starting to get pretty fatigued, but sometimes a little enforced practice can do a world of good.
More info about the mini-comic: It is 7 pages, black and white, and will be available at Connecticon this coming weekend and on the site thereafter. I'm planning on selling it for $3 at the con, $3 +shipping on the site, and will probably have some sort of personalization option as well. I'm really excited for it- this will be the first time QC has existed in print form. If all goes according to plan I will have the first 100 copies in my hands Tuesday night.
Are you excited for Connecticon? I sure am. Hopefully I will see a whole bunch of QC readers there, I am looking forward to meeting some of you in person!
That's it for tonight, I am exhasuted. Remember to vote on BCX if that's your thing- it'd be really cool if we could retake the #1 spot and hold on to it for a while. I appreciate every single vote! Anyway, enjoy the comic and I will see you Wednesday.
