So I am kind of a big Civil War nerd. Lately I have been reading the books of a fellow named Stephen Sears- Gettysburg, Chancellorsville, and A Landscape Turned Red, all of them hell of excellent. If you like US or military history I highly recommend them. Today's comic is largely inspired by Sears' mention of Robert E. Lee and his superb equipoise. Marten is appropriately irreverent.
