I always feel like I'm going out on a limb when it comes to writing Claire talking about her status. I'm cis as heck so it is not exactly a lived experience of mine, so I mostly just try to do a good job and write her like any other character. But I do feel like Claire would see indirect parallels between herself and Bubbles and use them to make a connection with her. That's what I'm going for with this strip, anyway.
