I made the mistake of leaving my copy of Final Fantasy X-2 in Massachusetts this week. Well, it probably wasn't a mistake- my family would not have seen me all day today, I would have been in the basement playing that game.
As you've probably heard by now, it's very different as far as FF games go. Fortunately for me it still has that spellbinding, makes-me-obsessively-want-to-play feeling to it that all of the really great FF games (3, 7, 8, 10 to some extent) had. I'm not quite halfway through the game and it is super-fun. I can't wait to get some of the more advanced jobs [cough] I mean "dress spheres".
I'm not here to talk about video games, though, which is why I felt sort of conflicted when writing and drawing this strip. As far as I am concerned the only two video game related comics worth reading are
Penny Arcade and
VG Cats. I love those two comics and it's not my place to dabble in the subject matter they handle so gracefully. Still, it WAS a third strip for this week...
Personally I'm pretty happy that I was able to update on schedule. I feel like if I didn't have a day job QC could easily become a daily strip like
PvP or
Jerkcity. I do have bills to pay, though, so that won't be happening any time soon (I hope). In any case, thanks for stopping by. It totally makes my day every time I get fan mail, and sometimes when I get 2 or 3 in one day it makes my day AND makes my pants tingle in that special way. Which is probably more information than you wanted to know but goddamnit this is my newspost and I can do what I want I DEMAND PONY RIDES IMMEDIATELY BLAGHGLAGAHLAGBUH
Anyway. Hope you enjoy today's lame-ass video game humor, and I will see you on Monday where I will get back to the usual indie rockery and suggestive humorisms.
