This strip's title is a reference to what is probably the best manga I have ever read, Takehiko Inoue's Vagabond. It's an excellent adaptation of a novelisation of the life of Miyamoto Musashi and the illustrations are simply mind-boggling. You should check it out if you like manga, and possibly even if you don't.
Sometimes I have an idea that is just so amusing to me that I have to write a strip around it. Pintsize in samurai armor was just such an idea. That panel three drawing of him is one of my favorite things I've ever drawn, I think!
