This happens to me a lot more than I'd like.
I'll hear of some band that broke up three years ago, download or buy one of their records, and discover that they were REALLY goddamned good and I should have gotten into them while they were still together. Failure, Castor, My Bloody Valentine, and Don Caballero are all on this list.
In an ideal world I would know about every single good band out there and I wouldn't miss out on anything, but that's obviously not the case. I suppose I should just resign myself to completely missing out on a really good band here and there. Either that or drive myself into bankruptcy buying hundreds of CDs every month. Which would actually be kinda nice, except for the whole "not having any money" part.
Everybody saw the
bonus comic I drew yesterday, right? If not, go look! I like to keep my readers on their toes, in an OMGWTF RANDOM EXTRA COMIC kind of way. Not in an OMGWTF HE IS SHOOTING A REVOLVER AT OUR FEET kind of way. You get the idea.
