Finally, god damn is Matthew Dear's upcoming album Asa Breed weird and good. Strange, off-kilter techno and some of the most, er, unique vocals I've heard in a while. Imagine if the singer from The Knife were a dude with a natural baritone vocal range and you begin to get an idea. The track "Deserter" is gonna be one of the best songs of 2007, in my opinion.
