I swear, Wayne Coyne could sing a song about nuclear war and manage to make it sound utterly blissful. I don't know how the man does it.
The Soft Bulletin is truly a classic record, one that I come back to time and time again. It's amazing to think that it's been out for so many years- it still sounds just as fresh as anything being put to tape in 2004. If you buy only one Flaming Lips record in your entire life, make it this one. You will not be sorry.
I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to talk about tonight, but I am having some pretty serious ear issues right now and I should probably make this a short update. Maybe I will whine about it in my
LiveJournal later, I do not want to force people to endure my complaining when they just want a little chuckle and some drawings to look at.
