Dora has excellent taste in metal. I think she and my friend Vlisgnath from the forums would get along very well. ;) I particularly recommend Opeth (think Hum meets a metal band) and Isis (think Godspeed You! Black Emperor meets a metal band) to everyone who likes loud music.
Super special good news: Questionable Content is now officially a member of
Dayfree Press, a truly excellent group of some of my favorite webcomics in the whole world. The Dayfree guys were kind enough to invite me in to their little group and I gleefully accepted. It is extremely exciting to be part of such a talented group of artists and writers. I am a big fan of these guys as a webcomic reader, so it is awesome to be considered a peer and friend as well. Woo!
Joining Dayfree and seeing the unprecedented number of people who visited QC yesterday has gone a long way towards mitigating the rather severe panic attack I had this afternoon. I am holding up okay, but am giving serious consideration to therapy/medication to help me with my problems. Bein' sad ain't much fun, and I am going to make an active effort to fix it. I am more than a little leery of mind-altering medication, but frankly I'm fucking tired of dealing with this crap so I might be willing to give it a try if the doctor recommends it. Huge amounts of appreciation to everyone who has asked about my well-being in the past, you guys are the reason I am still a functional human being most of the time.
But enough negativity! I am happy with how today's comic turned out, super-excited for QC's prospects, and in a pretty good mood, all things considered. Enjoy the comic and I will see you Friday!
