I think Dora's pose in the last panel of today's comic is one of the cutest things I have ever drawn. She looks so pleased with herself! You all get to spend the evening wondering how serious she was.
Did you catch
Instant Classic #100? That strip is probably Brian Carroll's best work to date. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Have you heard the upcoming Wilco album yet? They're streaming it from their website (last I heard, anyway) and you can find it on your file-sharing network of choice. I've got a copy, and after a couple listens it doesn't strike me as being as good as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Then again, maybe it just needs more time to sink in. I will give it a couple weeks before I make a final judgement. I think there are more guitar solos on this one record than in the rest of my CD collection combined.
I have a couple favors I would like to ask of people. If you ordered a Tip t-shirt and have not recieved one, please email me with your name and the size you wanted so that I can confirm with my transaction records. A couple people have also had mix-ups with their Anti-Emo and/or Pintsize shirt orders- if you guys could email me as well that would be really great.
Basically life has been completely overwhelming for me lately. We're in the middle of the two busiest weeks of the year (for me, anyway) at my day job, and on top of that I've been struggling with some of the anxiety issues that I mentioned the other day. This weekend I'm going to try and take care of the stuff that has necessarily been neglected lately, these shirt issues included. I'd appreciate it if everyone would just bear with me for a little longer while I try to get everything sorted out. Once the day job situation calms down a little bit I am going to try and take a 5-day weekend, I think I am desperately in need of some relaxation time.
Good news (for people like me who do not love bad news): QC hit #3 on Buzzcomix, an unprecedented achievement! Thanks so much to everyone who votes, it is really appreciated. Also this week has seen a record number of people visit the site, which is even more exciting. I'm not sure where you're all coming from, but I'm certainly happy to have you! I probably do not need to repeat how excited I am to be part of Dayfree Press, you already know about that. But still, I'm excited.
That's all for now. Enjoy the comic and I will see you on Monday, hopefully a little brighter of eye and bushier of tail.
