I really like making flippant jokes about being adopted, partially because people who didn't already know I was adopted get really uncomfortable. It's pretty hilarious! So I guess that was the inspiration for today's strip. I definitely see that gallows-humor quality in Faye.
Man this comic took a long time to draw. Using little tiny lines for the inking means I have to be extra careful. Still, I think it looks pretty cool. We'll see if I stick with it and for how long.
